Brushes & Paints That I Use
You too can be like the Epic Robo-Spider! At least in respect to the painting supplies that I use. You'll never be an intergalactic arachnid overlord no matter how hard you try. The links here are Amazon affiliate links so, yes, the oligarch there will still get the lion's share of the profit from the sales to further degrade the lives of regular people, but I'll get a few cents too. You know, enough for my family and I to continue eating ALPO.
Eat Like A King
(Or At Least Like A Dog Named King)
After a search for a picture of ALPO dog food I learned that it's not available. It looks like it has been replaced by Purina ONE. Who are they fooling? No matter what you call it, it's ALPO.

Nothing like the classics, but I digress back to the paint supplies. And speaking of classics here's a link to Citadel's Agrax Earthshade shade paint. I could use this stuff by the gallon because it works with so many colors. It provides just the right amount of shade in the nooks and crannies of your minis without getting too grimy.

In my feverish pitch to paint as many minis as I can for play testing Epic Robo-Spider The Game two things have contributed positively to the effort. Specifically, the slap chop painting method and Citadel Contrast paints. Far be it for me to say that I use Citadel exclusively, as it turned out, this robot dude was painted 100% with Citadel colors. Or should I say Colours? Here's the rundown:
Averland Sunset Base
Leadbelcher Base
Iyanden Yellow Contrast
Nazdreg Yellow ContrastAnd
Cryptek Armourshade Gloss Shade

My vision for this robot unit is a grimy yellow and orange 2001 A Space Odyssey look. You can click on any of the colors to be taken to a corresponding Amazon listing for that color. As always the links here are Amazon affiliate links so, yes, the oligarch there will still get the lion's share of the profit from the sales, but I'll get a few cents too.
